Perfectly located near to The Farmers Dog if you're visiting there and within walking distance of Burford shopping and eateries.I specifically booked this accommodation as it doesn't allow pets yet when we got there they had a large white dog on a long lead as we were walking in. I'm not good with dogs so this wasn't a good start. The bar/breakfast area is very pretty but it was closed in the evening. The room was okay but it did smell a little musty when we first got there. Some of the decor is quaint but the majority was plain old fashioned with mismatched furniture and a bedspread that I haven't seen since my great-grandmothers era!I've lived in a 1600's cottage and you can do traditional with quality. The place is very clean and the staff were nice. There was plenty of tea/coffee supplies too. Please don't let my review put you off staying here just because I didn't like the decor.- Sue
Lovely stay as usual well looked after ideal location if you want to visit (The farmers dog ) - Andrew
We had a fantastic stay at Burford Lodge. It was spotlessly clean, comfortable, and in a great location for exploring the local area. The breakfast was absolutely amazing, with a great choice and everything cooked to perfection. The accommodation was well equipped, we felt very welcome throughout our stay, and we’d happily return.
