Burford Lodge, located in the picturesque town of Burford in the heart of the Cotswolds countryside in W.Oxfordshire, is a charming and elegant accommodation choice for adult only visitors looking for a boutique experience. This delightful country style bed and breakfast hotel beautifully encapsulates the essence of English country living, blending historical charm with modern comforts.

Housed in a traditional Cotswold stone former private manor house, it exudes a warm and welcoming atmosphere. The architecture is reflective of the region's heritage, with classic design elements that have been lovingly preserved and incorporated into the building's overall aesthetic. The exterior wistfully attractive with hanging baskets, and garden pots adorning the grounds. There is a large free car park on site. We are also the closest property to Jeremy Clakson's new pub 'The Farmers Dog' (1 mile) and yes, Burford is a celebrity spotting destination among it's many atributes!  Watching Ferrari's and Bentley's roll by is a common occurance! 

The rooms at Burford Lodge are designed with comfort and classic Cotswold style in mind. Each room is uniquely decorated, combining contemporary amenities with many antique furnishings, paying homage to the building's historical roots. Guests can expect cozy and well-appointed spaces that offer a peaceful retreat after a day of exploring the Cotswolds with American size super king beds in our suites, quality Egyptian sheets, fluffy bath towels and top brand bathrom amenities. In room tea, and coffee facilities. A clothes steamer or iron on request. Come and relax on our sun terrace overlooking Burford Golf course at hole 8, or sit by the cosy fireplace in winter months.

Included in your room rate is an extensive breakfast menu including a traditional 'Full English' all cooked and served to order, including a choice of cereals, Greek yoghurt and juices. We use the famous and exclusive 'Cacklebean' fresh farm eggs. Please note that we do not cater specifically to different dietary requirements, but are happy to liaise with you and our chef. There is always something for everyone.

Please remember that this is a period building so there is no lift! However our stairway is short, wide and easy. All our rooms are on the first and second floors. There is no air conditioning in this period building but thick stone walls maintain a barrier to overly warm days, though such days are uncommon in the U.K. Fans are available should you need one. Rooms have triple glazed windows, so noise is not usually an issue. 

Burford Lodge is now owned and operated by a local family with vast experience in hospitality. We also have a beautiful Tearoom in Burford serving creme teas and a full lunch menu at 'Burford Pantry', a great place to sit outside and people watch.
